Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you provide therapy?

Skilled speech and language therapy is provided in the most natural location of the child and family’s daily environment. This can include the child’s home, daycare, and community. Sunflower Early Intervention is flexible and will work with your family to determine the best location for therapy services.

Can I attend my child's therapy session?

YES! Sunflower Early Intervention utilizes the parent coaching model, which is an interactive process between the speech language pathologist and parent that involves observation, reflection, and action to promote the parent’s ability to independently support their child’s development. You, the parent, are the most important asset to your child’s success in therapy.

Do you accept insurance?

Sunflower Early Intervention provides services that are private pay and out of network with insurance companies. I can provide a super bill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Accepted forms of payment include: cash, check, credit/debit card, and HSA/FSA.

How do I know if insurance will cover my visit?

You can call the number provided on your insurance card to determine their process for filing out-of-network benefits. Please access the document below for more information on how to determine out of network benefits.
